I like this serum very much because it's light and doesn't clog my pores. For someone in their fifties wanting to protect their skin from further damage and signs of aging, and is still getting spots and blemishes, this is an ideal treatment. It has a watery consistency, and isn't sticky like some serums. It absorbs quickly and has a mattifying effect. The feeling on my skin is featherlight. My skin feels toned and looks more even textured, and is soft and smooth to touch. It has a strong, pleasant herbal aroma, though this disappears once it's applied. It's particularly good to use in the morning, to protect my skin for the day ahead.The bottle has a pump instead of a pipet, and one or two pumps is sufficient to spread over my face and neck. 30ml doesn't sound much but the bottle was bigger than I'd expected and as only a tiny amount is required it will last a long time.The ingredients are mostly natural plant extracts with AHAs to smooth fine lines and gently exfoliate. I had to look up adaptogens and discovered that they are derived from herbs which have a number of beneficial properties for skin, including antioxidant protection, repairing stress damage and improving skin texture and tone.This serum really does appear to be well suited to me, and for that I love it. It's gentle and kind to my mature skin, and I feel that in using it each day I am helping to repair my skin and protect it. It's now an essential part of my daily skincare routine.

I love using this serum, it’s very lightweight, and not at all oily. The pump dispenser is handy to squirt into my fingers then apply to my face. It feels luxurious to massage into my skin. A little goes a long way and it spreads and absorbs very easily. It feels cleansing and hydrating on your skin at the same time. The serum dries matt and I then apply sunscreen and make up. It has a fresh, light citrusy smell which I adore.

Not a bad product at all it goes on nicely and isn't overly greasy, it's the sort of product you can use daily without any issues.Not only does it go on well but it actually provides decent amount of hydration and makes your skin feel soft and smooth after you have used it.No noticeable side effects and overall I was happy to use this product.

I gave this serum to my mother she has quite a pigmented and dry skin. She said that she likes the smell and it feels comfortable on her face.She mentioned that her skin feels smooth and the pigmentation was improving after using.

I have sensitive skin and rosacea which can be exacerbated during the winter months as I spend quite a lot of time outdoors and then come indoors to places that are a lot warmer and drier due to the heating.My skin can dry out a lot and become flaky, which makes it very difficult for me to wear any kind of make up without looking terrible - thankfully I tried out the Adaptogenique Daily Protection Face Serum and have been really impressed by the results!The Serum is in a pump dispenser bottle and I've found that a single pump is all I need to cover my face, there's a light herbal scent to the serum which isn't overwhelming at all and dissipates as the product is absorbed into the skin.I normally use a glycolic toner followed by quite an intensive moisturiser in the mornings and have found that with using the Adaptogenique Daily Protection Face Serum, I don't have to use the moisturiser - it really does feel like the Serum protects and nourishes my skin throughout the day and that my skin has stopped feeling tight and being flaky, which is fantastic!At the current full price of £29.75 the serum might appear a bit pricy but based on the results I've experienced so far and how much nice my skin feels, I'd be happy to recommend it! Especially as the 30ml bottle will likely last me at least two months.

This is quite a thin serum, I would normally apply serum to a finger and then apply it to my face, but this is too runny to do that, I have to apply it to the palm of my hand and then transfer it to my face. However, I do like the feel of it on my skin, It feels quite tightening when you apply it. What I really don’t like is the strong citrus smell, it’s a personal opinion, but my favourite creams and serums don’t really smell at all. Whether it does protect from pollution, wrinkles etc - only time will tell. At £35 it’s about the same cost or perhaps less than the more well known brands. If it does work long term, that would definitely be worth buying again but for me only if they reduce the heavy scent.

The texture feels lovely, and spreads across the skin really nicely and evenly. Smells nice but the smell isn't over powering which i like. Dosent feel sticky or oily on the skin which is nice.

This is a fairly watery serum, dispensed by pump action rather than pipette. I dispense it into my palm, then dab it with a finger onto my face. It has a lovely smell, very citrussy, and is absorbed fairly quickly without feeling greasy. I find one application ample to cover my face, so 30ml will last quite a long time.It feels good on my skin, and after several days' use my complexion does look brighter.I can't comment on the anti-pollution and anti-blue light claims, or whether it reduces fine lines or not. Basically it looks, smells & feels good so I am pleased with it.

I really like testing out new serums and finding more products that work for my skin and face as I have dry and sensitive skin. This serum is pretty nice as it is lightweight and easy to apply. The consistency is quite thin and watery so a little bit does go a long way, meaning that this 30ml bottle will last a reasonably long period of time. I also like the pump action as it means that you dispense the same amount of serum each time and are not putting your fingers and touching the liquid that is inside the bottle so there is and will be less bacteria mixing in with the serum, hopefully making it last longer.This serum was easy to apply and did not irritate my sensitive skin so I do recommend it to others with the same or similar skin type/ sensitivity issues like me. The smell is also quite light so it is less likely to irritate your skin, too. I have not really used it for long enough to see its anti aging benefits so I may have to report back after a longer period of using this product.For now, it seems to be well suited for the sensitive of skin types so I do recommend!

At the current price of £35.00 for a mere 30ml this serum certainly isn't cheap - but it is very good.The consistency is more runny than many gel-type facial serums, but the coverage is very good, which goes a good way towards mitigating the cost.I really like the fragrance, which is "herby" and even verging on being a touch woody.The serum is readily absorbed into the skin and doesn't leave any oily or stick residue.This has also proven to be particularly effecting at complementing the moisturising effect of my facial cream, which is ideal.Easy to recommend in spite of the relatively high cost.I hope you find these comments helpful.

This is a really pleasant lightweight serum. I really love the gel like consistency and it sinks in effortlessly into the skin. Annoyingly I had not noticed the bit on the product description "Optimised for 40+ Years Old Women". My skin is 60s, dry and sensitive, and this product does not suit it at all.Its a pity because it smooths on well, absorbs quickly and smells wonderful, bright fresh and citrusy. However, almost immediately it began to sting around my eyes, and after a few minutes my whole face felt tingly and irritated. I suspect it would be fine on anyone with non-dry or sensitive skin. Because I see this as my bad choice I have only dropped it 1 star.

It contains an ingredient they say is like AHA and I can see Salicylic acid in the list too (relatively high in the list) so I see this as an exfoliating serum which in turn gives the skin a brighter look. I like the hydrating feel this has, it's very runny in texture. My skin looks fresh and glowy after use but it's far too early to comment on any retexturing benefits.
