I left this review to my better half, who admitted she was a little sceptical about the ‘gold’ thing but willing to give it a try. Nice bottle. Feels like an expensive product was the first impression. Just as well as it is £33, which is a bit of an outlay.She said it was easy to apply and that it went on her face ok. Also easy to remove. She left it on 15 mins. Her face didn’t feel tight whilst waiting the 15 mins for the product to work its magic and she could talk, in other words the mask didn’t ‘crack’ or make her feel like she couldn’t do stuff.She says the smell is quite strong. Couldn’t quite place the smell but it was quite generic and inoffensive.When it came to rinsing, it came off well. She rinsed her face over the sink and said it was as straightforward as she would have liked.The results after were good. She didn’t feel like her face was dry and her face felt fresh. She applied her usual face moisturiser after and overall said the experience was positive, as were the effects. The one thing she noticed that was different was that her face was quite tingly afterwards. Not unpleasant. Maybe that is a good thing and it’s doing a job?Neither of us had heard of the brand but that doesn’t mean much. Would she buy it again? Possibly. She was neither a fully fledged convert nor a sceptic.

I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks now and it does a good job at keeping my skin hydrated and smooth. It sinks in quickly and gives a subtle glow without feeling greasy. I like that it’s made from mostly natural ingredients and doesn’t irritate my skin. It’s not a miracle product but it’s a solid addition to my routine for a bit of extra moisture and a healthy look.

The face mask comes in a 50 mil bottle and is produced in the UK and it certainly contains a whole host of botanical ingredients plus nourishing oils. You have to apply a thick layer to your face and neck and leave to dry and wash off after 15 to 20 minutes. As soon as I applied the mask, I felt a tingle Suggesting something was working. After washing the mask off with warm water initially my skin felt a little tight however I decided not to apply moisturiser straight away as the mask instructions did say it would hydrate the skin. After about 10 minutes I felt my face and was pleasantly surprised just how soft it felt even my forehead. I’m not sure how often you should use this face mask as there are no instructions regarding this. I think I would choose to use it once a week as I believe is quite a powerful mask which did leave my face feeling plump and soft.

Having dry skin that's easily prone to sensitivity and irritation, I'm always cautious when trying new products. Both myself and my husband have been using this facemask and although we both have different skin types (his is combination skin), we're both really happy with the instant results from this mask.The mask comes in a pump bottle dispenser - I find the easiest way to use it is to dispense a little at a time into the palm of my hand, then apply with fingertips to the face. It's very easy to apply and has a very gold, shimmery look to it and a pleasant citrus scent.Neither myself or my husband have had any irritation from using it - it feels very pleasant on the skin and after several minutes you can definitely feel a slight tightening sensation.The mask dries after around 10-15 mins, and I normally wash mine off with plain water after 20 mins.My skin looks amazing after using this - it really does give a lovely brightening effect, whilst leaving the skin firm and smooth. Unlike other facemasks I've tried, my skin doesn't feel horribly dry afterwards. If it wasn't so expensive I'd be using this every single day, lol, and so would my husband. As it is, I use it twice a week and I'm happy with that.Overall I'm very happy with the product - it's by far the best facemask I've ever tried. Im really impressed and seriously considering ordering some of the other skincare items in the range :)

Smells like.... essential oils.It says to apply a thick layer to the face but that takes a little time to absorb and dry. Definitely dries like a mask.Didn't cause any issues

This face mask is made from almost all natural ingredients including baobab extract, kakadu plum extract, olive leaf and vitamin E and is enriched with a blend of goji berry, mulberry and sea buckthorn. It is free from parabens and sulfates and has zero toxins. It is both vegan and cruelty free.The face mask is designed to be anti-aging and to deeply hydrate and smooth your skin. The product contains mica mineral gold to give a healthy glow and I have had products previously that say the same and they have just a hint of a gold tint to the product but this is full on gold! The directions say to apply a thick layer, but the product does not have a particularly creamy texture so I applied a few layers to get it to what I considered to be a thicker layer. Once it is on I like that there is no uncomfortable heaviness or skin tightening when using it. When I removed it, my skin did have a glow to it and felt very smooth.There is a lot to like about this product. It works well and, although my skin can sometimes be sensitive, I did not have any issues at all with this. I like that you don’t need to leave it on for too long so there is not a lot of faffing around and you can easily fit it into your skincare routine. I am not particularly keen on the gold colour as I worry I will get it on my clothes. I also think the price is very steep. Granted it is good quality but it is, to my mind, the good end of a mid range product rather than a luxury one. Apart from that, I do like the product and will be interested to see the long term effects of using it.

There was no irritation at all. It feels like a proper treat, and although I wasn’t familiar with this brand before, I’ll definitely continue using it. Overall, I’m very pleased.

This face mask is one that is to be applied thickly, left to dry for 15-20 mins, then removed by washing or with a cloth. The mask itself is quite heavily coloured with gold pigment, which does seem a little gimmicky, as it seems unlikely to make any difference to the overall effect on the skin.I followed the instructions, applied what I feel is a "thick" coating, and the bottle was still almost full, so there are plenty of applications left, and used a flannel with fairly hot water to remove. It came off easily and the colouring washed out of the cloth well.My skin looked a bit pink afterwards, but this may have been the effect of the hot water. Skin felt quite soft after use.It's quite expensive and I'm not convinced about the necessity of the gold colouring, but it's a nice mask that's easy to use and seems like it will last quite a while.
